Abstract
In the order to depend the understanding of socialist market economy, the primary problem is exploring and understanding the basic law of the socialist market economy. So it is necessary to make the theoretical definition exactly on the meaning of socialist market economy. On this base, the formula and social character of values of socialism commodities is given to a new presentation through the way of introducing two new category of "soci-capital" and "need". Furthermore, the basic law of socialist market economy—"need value" has been proved.
