Based on the understanding of the law of development of human society, classical Marxist writers envisaged the achievement of different levels of common prosperity at two stages of communism, revealing the historical process of mankind towards common prosperity. The incorporation of common prosperity in the basic economic system and the construction of system of common development and common prosperity is conducive to the sustainable development of the productive forces. It is a reflection of the fundamental principles of socialism while guiding and covering various specific aspects of the economic system. We should improve the training and employment system in favor of common prosperity, strive to set up multiple distribution systems that balance development and equity, and improve the system that monitors and regulates the gap between the rich and the poor.
