Economic development creates material basis for ideological work. Only when we fulfill this central work of economic development can we form a firm material basis for ideological work;in turn ideological work can convey and maintain the sustained rapid and healthy economic development. We must dialectically analyze and have a clear understanding of”economy left and politics right".The reform direction of socialist market economy is itself the unification of economy and politics. Our reform is to establish”socialist market economy"，not just market economy. Market plays a decisive role in the allocation of resources which doesnt mean there is no need for the state to regulate and plan at the macro level but the decisive role in the allocation of resources at the micro level must be fully played. This is the general law of the market economy. To establish the socialist market economy system we must respect the market value law， but we cannot reject planned and proportioned development law under public ownership.
