Abstract

That labor productivity and magnitude of unit commodity value are negatively correlated is an important proposition of the classical Marxist theory concerning value of labor. The author raised a new hypothesis about the aspect of labor in the theory of“inverse proportion", and assumed that under circumstances of advancement in science and technology, along with the changes in the objective aspect similar changes would occur in the subjective aspect of labor, and that larger degree of changes would occur in the subjective aspect than in the objective aspect .If this is proved, a conclusion that labor productivity is in direct proportion to magnitude of commodity value can be reached.
