Abstract

Being as the hot words around the theoretical circle and the public view in recent years, "China Model" bears the basic mode and experience of economic reform and development in more than thirty years of China's reform and opening. And the economic "New Normal" is a general analysis of the current economic situation by China's decision-making level. "China Model" had made great achievements which leading China's economy to the long-term, sustained and rapid growth. At the same time, however, the problems and defects of "China Model" was also an important factor which resulted in the economic "New Normal" of current China's economy. To promote the transformation and upgrading of "China Model" in order to better cope with the new problems and challenges under the background of the economic "New Normal" was a major issue which related to the sustainable development of China's economy in this new period. Therefore, to transit the driving mechanism, the specific mode, and the strategy of economic reform, as well as to change the mode of economic growth and macroeconomic policies are the main ways of promoting the transformation and upgrading of "China Model" under the background of the economic "New Normal".
