Abstract
This article sets forth the connotation of the basic economic system in the primary stage of socialism, expounded and proven the economic base, insisting that the dominant position of public ownership is the economic system of constructing a harmonious socialist society. It analyzes economically the disharmonious phenomena in society and points out that the economic base key in structuring a harmonious society of socialism depends on bridging the income gap and adhering to the dominant position of public ownership so that the socialist harmony can be ultimately realized.
