Abstract

"Radhika Desai is Professor of Political Studies and Director of the Geopolitical Economy Research Group at the University of Manitoba, Canada. She is the author of Geopolitical Economy: After US Hegemony, Globalization and Empire (2013), Slouching towards Ayodhya (2004) and Intellectuals and Socialism (1994); editor of Analytical Gains of Geopolitical Economy (2015) and Theoretical Engagements in Geopolitical Economy (2015), Developmental and Cultural Nationalisms (2009); and co-editor of Research in Political Economy (Volume 27). With Alan Freeman, she edits the Geopolitical Economy book series with Manchester University Press and The Future of World Capitalism book series with Pluto Press. Her research interests are political and geopolitical economy, political, social and economic theory, and comparative politics."
