"Both authors are scholars of political economy and joined World for Political Economy (WAPE) in 2010. Richard Corell (left) was born in 1947, and he studied economics from 1968 to 1974 in Regensburg (Federal Republic of Germany [FRG]) and Cambridge (UK); Ernst Herzog (right) was born in 1949, and he studied economics in Regensburg (FRG) from 1970 to 1975. Besides earning their living
in various fields of business and teaching, both work as freelance researchers and journalists and publish in left-wing papers (like KAZ or JW) in the Federal Republic of Germany. Corell is the co-author of Papst ohne Heiligenschein (Pope without Halo) (2006) and author of Die große proletarische Kulturrevolution—Chinas Kampf um den Sozialismus (The Great Proletarian Cultural Revolution—China’s
Struggle for Socialism) (2010), both published by Zambon-Verlag."
