Classical Marxist writers periodize, through historical materialism, the development and evolution of western bougeois economics as two historical stages: classical economics and vulgar economies. However, the modern western mainstream economists refuse to admit bourgeois economics' translation into vulgaz economics. They stress abstract resource allocation in terms of subject investigated, and intensify the application of mathematical means in research approach, trying to conceal the vulgar nature of modern western economics. If peo目e conduct a critical analysis on the nature, subject investigated and research approach of modern western economics by historical materialism; it is not hard to find that modern western economics is still vulgar economics.
